Causalis applies two methods for the analysis of safety-critical systems which have been developed in-house:

  • Why-Because Analysis for the causal analysis of significant failures and accidents, and
  • Ontological Hazard Analysis for the safety analysis (preliminary hazard analysis, safety requirements specification, refinement and verification of safety requirements in the design) for the forward development of critical systems from requirements to software.

Causalis also applies industry-standard methods such as Fault Tree Analysis, Event Tree Analysis, and Hazard Analysis (FMEA, HAZOP, CCA).
