About Causalis

Causalis Limited is a consultancy and software house founded by Prof. Peter B. Ladkin in 1998, specialising in complex safety- and security-critical systems. Causalis develops leading-edge investigation methods such as Why-Because Analysis (WBA) for incident and accident analysis and Ontological Hazard Analysis (OHA) for requirements analysis and tracking, and software utilities to support these methods.

Causalis Limited has experience mainly in investigation of failures in complex systems in aviation, rail, and marine environment and the development of safety requirements using the formally structured approach of OHA.
